Community Development Association (CDA) remains deeply committed to promoting social inclusion and upholding human rights across all its activities. In line with our mission to empower marginalized communities, our efforts have been focused on ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, has equal access to opportunities, resources, and decision-making processes.
Through our
various programs and initiatives, we have worked tirelessly to address the
systemic barriers that prevent marginalized groups from fully participating in
society. Our institution building efforts have empowered communities to
advocate for their rights, particularly in areas such as land rights, access to
resources, and social justice.
CDA has been actively engaged in promoting human rights education and awareness, ensuring that community members are informed about their rights and empowered to assert them. We have conducted training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns to internalize individuals about their rights under international human rights frameworks, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR).
CDA’s
advocacy efforts have focused on holding duty bearers accountable for upholding
human rights standards and ensuring that marginalized communities are not
