Major Achievements of SOLAR program:
In the month of July 2022 to September 2022, 1487 nos members of Peoples Organization access to the support-services of the Local Government Institutions for their livelihood purposes, such as VGD: 83 member, VGF: 1334 member, Old allowance: 08 member, Widow allowance: 20 member, Disable allowance: 04 member, Pregnancy Mother Allowance 02 member, 40 Day Work: 10 member, Solar panel: 00 member, Sanitary Latrine:00 member, Tube well: 26 member. In this 3 month 390 families are involved in Family Farming, preparing organic fertilizer from sweeping substance and seed preservation by the women 162 members. 1220 families got access to the support services from Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, local Public Health & Engineering, Family Planning and Health departments, access to electricity. On the other hand 13 families are hired land and cultivating by the different Peoples Organization’s (PO’s) members. 119 families were practicing organic Agriculture, HIP and Vermi compost. 117 PO’s members have started Fish Culture in Mini pond and 3741 trees are planted by PO mamber and 305 families have submitted application for Khas land (housing, agri, water body, government housing) amounting of 7.82 acres.
Program Operation Cell (POC)
Meeting Held:
Program Implementation Cell (POC) meetings of CDA are held every week to
speed up the activities of CDA and achieve the targets. 13 POC meetings were
held in the last three months (July-September'2022) in the Conference Room of
CDA Central Office. In the meeting, presence of members of Program Operation
Cell, plans accepted on various important issues including management, land
rights and land reforms. Some important decisions have taken in view of the
plan.
Fortnightly & Monthly Staff
Meeting Conducted:
Fortnightly staff coordination meetings
are 3 and monthly staff coordination meetings are 3 total six staff
coordination meeting were held during the last three months (July-September'2022) in the conference room of CDA’s Training
Center Jono Sreejon Institute (JSI). Executive Director, Deputy Director, all
managers, regional coordinators and program officers were present in the
meeting. These meetings had organized to analyze the monthly progress report
and presented the recommendations for the next monthly action plan. In the
meeting, Monthly target and achievement of five regions had presented through
multi-media. In the meeting, various important issues related to the program
have discussed; reviewed/follow-up, decisions and necessary steps had taken to
accelerate the program.
Publication
of CDA:
Last three months (July-September'2022), CDA published some advocacy &
communication materials such as, 52000
copies of JONOCHESTA, 1000 copy of CDA Barta, 1200 copies of poster, 1500
copies of booklet.
The
143rd Executive Committee meeting of CDA was held
The 141st meeting of the Executive
Committee held on 24 August 2023 at the conference room of Community Development
Association (CDA). The Vice Chairman of CDA Mr.Manowarul Islam presided over
the meeting. On that meeting Member Secretary/Executive Director Mr.
Shah-I-Mobin Jinnah, Treasurer Ms. Selina Begum, Executive Member Ms.Rashida
Khatun, Professor Dr. Saiful Huda (PHD), Md. Mostak Hossain Chowdhury, Shefat- E- Jahan (Sheu) were present. Various issues of the program
of CDA had discussed and some decisions had taken in light of the
implementation of the program during that meeting.
Day
Observation of CDA
47th death anniversary of the Father of Nation Banga Bandhu Shaik Muzibur Rahman was observed in 15.08.2022 in the office premises of CDA. A discussion meeting was held upon the political career and dedication of his life for Bangladesh. All staff of CDA participated in the discussion and delivered valuable information about his livelong political career. We salute him and all staff are pay their deeply respect to one minute silence.
Training
Organized by CDA:
In the last three months (July-September'2022) CDA organized training: "Account
Management and Entrepreneurship Creation at PO Level'. All staff of CDA has
participated here and the training supported by Bread for the World. Training
was held in two batches from 13th to 17th September, 2022 at the conference
room of CDA's Central Training Center Jono-Sreejon Institute (JSI).

On 5 to 8 September, 2022, Ms. Sruti singh,the
Indian representative of FMSF, associate organization of south Asian desk of
Bread for the world, German and Ms. Hasina Akter, Assignment officer of NGO Bureau
came to visit CDA office to inspect the SOLAR program. A brief meeting had
organized in the seminar room of CDA on that day.
Quarterly
meeting of PLANET was held
On September 30, 2022, People Land
& Agrarian Reform in Northern Ecological Territory (PLANET) organized quarterly meeting in the seminar room
of the Jono Srijon Institute. CDA Executive Director Shah-I-Mobin Jinnah
chaired the meeting in the presence of 09 executive heads of 18 local voluntary
development organizations working in 16 districts of Rangpur and Rajshahi
divisions, especially in the northern part of Bangladesh.
